The Route to Rift Zero

Progress through R&D onboarding, the Exotic Matter Laboratory, the headquarters power network and the Temporal Research Centre before entering The World Beyond the Rift. The Rift Zero ending choice comes at 7-5 The Fate of Two Worlds.

02

Prepare for Your Partner's Role

Both players need a working PC-compatible microphone and an internet connection. Your rooms provide different information, so describe the current display before your partner operates its controls. After acquiring the prototype tools, divide instructions by Hook Gun and Goop Gun role.

Campaign Order and Key Checkpoints

The released campaign contains seven chapters and 36 checkpoints. Follow this chapter order, using the named checkpoints below to locate the major puzzle stops and final sequence.

ChapterProgression
2 — The R&D HeadquartersComplete the laboratory experiments, then acquire the Hook Gun and Goop Gun at 2-4.
3 — The Exotic Matter LaboratoryClear the cargo, magnetic, laser and gravity challenges.
4 — The R&D HeadquartersRestore headquarters power at 4-3 before continuing toward temporal research.
5 — The Temporal Research CentreRestart the generator at 5-1, progress through time manipulation and Xenobotany, then solve the 5-6 time loop.
6 — The R&D HeadquartersReturn to headquarters before entering The World Beyond the Rift.
7 — The World Beyond the RiftThe closing sequence runs through 7-3 The Theta Splice, 7-4 Farpoint Outpost and 7-5 The Fate of Two Worlds, followed by 7-6 Credits.

Opening Consoles and the Shrinking Laboratory

  1. Hold the corresponding opening controls together to activate the mechanism leading into the separate testing rooms.
  2. Enter the three symbols in the reader's displayed order to complete the first console. Read the replacement display after a rejected attempt.
  3. Perform the pictured machinery interactions in their requested sequence to open the passage. Trace connected wires when similar devices are difficult to distinguish.
  4. Send the retrieved canister through the transfer holder so your partner can collect and install it. The receiving doorway needs its own control.
  5. Activate the shrinking chamber with your partner inside to give them access to the miniature machinery. The normal-sized Explorer must open their exit.
  6. Activate the circuit after matching all six illustrated components to the socket markings and reference symbols; the completed assembly powers the laboratory equipment.
  7. Dispense the resin ingredients using 4 → 3 → 1 → 4, positioning the container beneath each outlet. This supplies Styrene, Acrylonitrile, Butadiene and final Styrene.
  8. Match each floppy-door indicator to its current target orientation to open the printer route. The later set includes diagonal directions.
  9. Reproduce the printer's light pattern using the directional controls and central toggle button to produce the Green Key Card. Moving the blinking cursor alone does not change a light.
  10. Use the printed card at the earlier laboratory access panel after restoring your partner to normal size; this opens progression toward the prototype equipment.
05

Cargo, Magnets, Lasers and Gravity

At the Cargo Elevator, Many Ways requires activation without using a Fuse. Choose that achievement route before completing the standard Fuse-assisted solution. The earlier laboratory Green Key Card belongs to a separate objective.

  1. Complete the Cargo Elevator's standard requirements by installing its purple card, green card and lowered Fuse. Check the lower side opening in the anti-gravity workspace for the green card.
  2. Enter the Particle Accelerator's current symbols and indicated dial settings to activate its machinery. A failed symbol input can replace the sequence.
  3. Apply Goop directly to the Explorer standing on the Magnetic Stabilizer pressure plate to provide the weight its separated routes require.
  4. Route the calibration beam through Pingosius Crystalis, Rupium and Cattonimus in that order. A receiver hit with Wrong Crystal Configuration calls for checking specimens and sequence.
  5. Match the ring inputs to the current symbols to open the barriers. Use 4 → 1 → 5 only for the outer-circle, outward-arrow and overlapping-circle designs described by that combination.
  6. Operate the gravity-room platforms while your partner crosses, using colored passages as landmarks. The remaining lever route turns left at the large purple T-junction.
06

Restore Headquarters Power

  1. Activate the cable modules along this complete route: GEN → Ψ01 → Ψ04 → Ψ02 → Ψ03 → Ψ06 → Σ04 → Σ03 → Σ01 → Σ02 → Ψ08 → Θ03 → Δ02 → Δ03 → λ02 → λ03 → λ01 → Ψ07. GEN denotes the unlabelled starting module beside ENERGY REBOOT.
  2. Reset the chain with Energy Reboot between completed batteries and repeat the route. Charged batteries retain their progress, while modules and colored doors reset.
  3. Collect the cassette beneath the yellow note on the office desk to unlock the elevators after the cable puzzle.

Only the last activated module supplies your next connection, and each module can be used once per chain. Wait for its activation to finish before continuing. If you take a dead end, rebuild the chain with Energy Reboot.

07

Temporal Research, Xenobotany and the Time Loop

  1. Open the ventilation hatch matching your partner's full duct identifier to advance their route. Similar labels can lead to different passages.
  2. Place an electrified cube on the required electrical contact to power doors or lifts. Cube weight alone does not satisfy an electrical requirement.
  3. Reproduce the eight-slot warning arrangement, reading left to right: top row Orange → Empty → Green → Purple; bottom row Green → Purple → Orange → Empty. This triggers access to the crystal mechanisms.
  4. Cultivate the specimen matching the future Explorer's obstacle so its growth changes their route. Blue + Purple with sunlight and Blue + Red with water serve separate plant requirements.
  5. Use replayed setup actions during the time loop to access the next route instead of repeating that setup yourself. If a crossing fails, change the action that activates too late.
08

Finish the Rift Route and Choose an Ending

  1. Trigger the rune machinery's connected conditions to open the later route. Follow an inactive chain backward to its earliest missing trigger.
  2. Insert the required access cards at the final apparatus to bring its controls online; inspect nearby containers when your panel reports a missing card.
  3. Choose Close Rift or Stabilize Rift together at 7-5 The Fate of Two Worlds to begin your selected ending. These alternatives are separate outcomes.
  4. Return to the final stage through chapter selection after finishing to attempt the other ending without replaying the laboratory route.
